The really neat software is StorageDNA’s DNAfabric product that approaches the problem of remote collaboration differently to most current solutions. Instead of using a direct connection method into the central post production system it uses a distributed process where the remote users can edit and be creative on their local machines yet still be connected with both the central system and other team members working remotely. It does this by using a small cloud storage cache drive that is used to transfer, sync and bin lock a workflow as though everyone was working on a central system from their desks in the main facility. Using a cloud storage account as the cache disk for the system ensures security with end to end encryption and maximises performance since  the cloud transfers use WAN acceleration. And there is no restriction on which cloud provider you use.
