Big news at NAB 2018 was, Thunderbolt 3 storage solutions, from 2-bay to 8-bay. These storage units will meet the demand of video, audio and photo editing.
All Stardom Thunderbolt 3 RAID units come with an easy‐to‐use Hardware RAID controller inside, providing users with high throughput and a large capacity solution. It can offer reliability and enhanced productivity by keeping systems running at full performance even in the event of a complete volume rebuild.
There were many products and new releases on show at NAB 2018 and we will documenting them over the coming weeks. Some are yet to be released but we are waiting with anticipation. One particular product we are keen to see released is the ‘truly’ pocket sized portable storage drive with a capacity of 1TB.

SR8-TB3: 8-bay Thunderbolt™ 3 Hardware RAID Storage
The SR8-TB3, comes with dual Thunderbolt™ 3 (Type C) ports and one hardware RAID chip inside.
It supports eight 3.5” or 2.5” SAS/SATA hard drive or SSD (Solid State Drive), comes with dual Thunderbolt™ 3 (Type C) ports which data transfer rate up to 40Gbps, it’s 4 times faster than USB3.1. It also supports daisy chain to let you connect up to six Thunderbolt devices through one cable.
