If you need capacity, value and performance the new DR5 and DT8, are stand alone storage solutions offering 5 bay or 8 bay respectively with support for 4TB drives. JMR have been delivering high speed direct attach storage and PCI expansion for a while. At NAB they will launch possibly 5 new products: There will be a new 8 bay SilverStor Thunderbolt product with SAS expansion. A new small server with 8 x 2.5" bays for SATA/SAS or SSD drives. Finally there are rumors of a new very fast Network Attached Storage system on their booth SL10124.
