Bluefish444 - NEW 4K Workflow & Thunderbolt Support – Stand No. 7.J07
Bluefish444 will be showing stunning high frame rate 4K footage on their stand. They will have a 4K theatre showing 4K editing and finishing workflows powered by Adobe Creative Cloud 4K 60P, Assimilate Scratch 4K 30P, and their own Fluid 4K review software.
Bluefish444 also recently launched a new MAC compatible driver certified by Sonnet for their Echo Express Pro, Echo Express III-D/III-R and the xMac mini Server products. This means you can have all the benefits of Bluefish 12bit video I/O support via your thunderbolt connection to your MAC Pro or MAC Server. They will be showing this with Adobe, Avid and Assimilate running on a MacBook Pro with a Sonnet chassis. They will also show their Fluid DNxHD capture software that allows multiple streams of DNxHD to be captured simultaneously whilst editing.
Vizrt will demonstrate Bluefish444 Synapse SDI to HDMI mini converters as part of its workflow demonstrations at IBC 2013. Bluefish444 Synapse converters are controlled by easily accessible dip switches on the side of each converter. By choosing a setting it is possible to convert in real time between a range of industry formats, such as 3G HD SDI, HDMI 1.3, Component, S-video, Composite, SDI Embedded Audio, Stereo Unbalanced Audio and AES/EBU digital audio.

Stardom will have a new 8 bay rack mounted Thunderbolt RAID. The DR8-TB provides 10Gb/s Thunderbolt™ (2-Port) interfaces and is compatible with 3.5” SATA III drives up to 4TB. It can be configured into various storage modes - JBOD / RAID 0 / RAID 1 / RAID 5 / RAID 6 / RAID 10
Another new rack mount product is the DT8-U5. When used with the ATTO R680 PCIe x8 RAID controller a DT8-U5 with eight 7200 RPM, SATA III drives in RAID 5 protected mode achieves close to 1000MB/sec performance and supports two simultaneous streams of uncompressed 10-bit HD or a single 2K DPX sequence.

This is the latest addition to the award winning TAHOMA Universal input Multiviewer platform that accepts DVI, VGA, YPbPr, YC, Composite, HDMI and SD-SDI/HD-SDI inputs for multi-image display. In addition to the mix of broadcast and computer inputs, this IP-based Multiviewer accepts direct inputs of ASI, H.264 and MPEG4 at resolutions up to 1080P (60Hz). TAHOMA IP also supports the display of metadata such as close caption, AFD, and WSS.4K
