Stardom are offering an 8 bay rack mounted low cost Thunderbolt RAID. The DR8-TB provides 10Gb/s Thunderbolt™ (2-Port) interfaces and is compatible with 3.5” SATA III drives up to 4TB. It can be configured into various storage modes - JBOD / RAID 0 / RAID 1 / RAID 5 / RAID 6 / RAID 10

DR8-TB provides latency management and RAID protection for SATA devices which are accessible by Thunderbolt-enabled host systems.

 

 

Highest Speed and Highest Performance I/O Transmission Technology

The ultra-fast and ultra-flexible Thunderbolt transmission port comprises two 10 Gbps data transmission channels and is over 12 times faster than FireWire 800 and 20 times faster than USB 2.0. This highly potent data transmission power is the first of its kind.

 

 

Various Storage Modes for Highly Flexible Usage

DR8-TB comprises various storage modes, RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10, applicable for different storage requirements and applications. For video editing users, RAID 5 mode is recommended as it increases transmission speed and provides data security. For enterprises’ data security, it is recommended to use RAID 6 mode for ultimate protection of the enterprises’ internal data. Regardless of whether they are accounting system’s database or research center’s library, data are properly maintained without the worries of serious loss when there is a hard drive failure.

The DR8-TB’s short rack structural design is not only suitable to be put on desk, but also be installed on server racks. Because its depth is half of a normal rack, the installation can be combined with a mobile rack without occupying extra space.

The DR8-TB includes various storage modules such as RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, and also supports 8 pieces of 6TB SATA hard drives, with a total capacity of 48TB content safe storage. Stardom ST4-TB - Thunderbolt 2 RAID

Thunderbolt RAID bringing speed to a small RAID enclosure.

Thunderbolt 2 technology in the ST4-TB is phenomenally fast. The two Thunderbolt 2 ports on ST4-TB feature dual 20-Gbps channels for data transfer and that’s up to four times faster than USB 3. But beyond speed, Thunderbolt alos gives you expansion capabilities. You can daisy-chain as many as six Thunderbolt devices to a single port.The ST4-TB comes with two disk configuration modes: RAID 0 (Speed Mode), and JBOD (Four Independent Volumes)
