standards with its new 16-bay E1 Series of RAID subsystems.
Combining innovative technology, optimal cooling and an almost
vibration free environment, the E1 Series offers the highest
design and build standards. The system is available with Dual
4Gbit Fibre Channel or U320 SCSI host interfaces to ensure the
widest range of host connectivity.
Utilising the latest high capacity SATA II disk
technology, a single fully populated E1 system offers a massive 14
Terabytes of storage with RAID-6 for ultimate data protection.
In addition, Fibrenetix E1 Series features:
- Dual hot-swap 560 watt power supply modules, ready for
all future generation disk drives to 15K rpm and beyond
- Intelligent cooling system that automatically adapts to
environmental conditions, monitoring more numerous hot spots
within the enclosure and around the disk drives to optimise
system cooling

and more security than a traditional RAID system
